Holy crap! That's an incredible photograph of a clown.

Samantha

Clowns. Oh my. I had a wind up clown that sat on my dresser when i was little. You wind it up and its head would roll while music would play. I remember one night i went to sleep and it's head was leaning to the right, when I woke up its was leaning left!!!!

sandie

haha, that pic of your husband's shoe alongside the clown's KILLS me!!!! hahahaha. poor larry!

Lin

Haha...you're so brave! I've had had a fear of clowns since I was little, I dont know if I'd be able to be that close to them.

It looks like you had a great time. Maybe I'll follow your lead & brave it since my husband has been begging me to go with him for years.

Frances

Great photo. The richness of the color creates a feeling of past times.

Jason

We went to the Circus Vargas the other day when it came to town. Parts of it were impressive. Parts of it were pure cheese. PURE CHEESE.

Maybe you could consider an alternate career as a clown. And blog about life as a clown!

Live More Now

All I gotta say is FREAKY. Freaky. Clows, including these ones, are freaky.

Freakier than crows even. Masses of swarming crows.

Live More Now

"Clowns" not "Clows" - gosh, it is Monday!

lisa mertins

supersaturated, slightly outta focus clowns make me smile :)

Very cute Suz. I am glad you pushed past your fears, at least for the kids!
Glad to see that Larry does not have clown feet. But...does he have a clown car????

Hmm.. I don't know about those clowns. They sure seem scary. You are a brave woman!!That first photo is all sorts of awesome. As scary as clowns are that photo is sure amazing!

Maria

You are BRAVE! Love the pictures!

fancy feet

It gave me a chill to see you between those clowns. Clowns give me the creeps.

Size 16!!

Great photos as always....even if they are of clowns. :)

Elaina

Great photo, Suz. I'm not a fan of clowns. Ick. So yeah, definitely a brave woman. Because I would have avoided them like the plague. :)

Martha

I promised myself I would ride the ferris wheel for my daughter (something else I am afraid to do) but I don't know if I could do clowns. You are a stud.

Jana

I wonder if those clown wigs ever get washed. I bet there are years and years of clown sweat and face paint all over them. Ew, and they were so close to touching your face. I am sure you will be fine though.....

Just wanted to restore your healthy fear of clowns. Clowns are creepy and should be feared.

P.S. In my opinion that picture only confirms what we have always believed....Larry does have clown feet! ( Your a good sport Larry!)

Jen Laceda

Ok, clowns creep me out a bit. Especially Ronald McDonald, so I'm glad you're featuring a different kind of clown!! Hahaha!

Meg

Love it! You are braver than I am; The clowns, I like not so much.
