In honor of Veteran's Day: This picture of our flag in San Clemente. Thank you if you have served our Country in the armed forces.
My husband is a veteran. He served as a Green Beret in the Special Forces for eight years. I'm immensely proud of him.
Sometimes the best way to honor someone is to write a list about them. Especially if that person has a great sense of humor and is terribly fond of lists. At least I read this somewhere--probably in McSweeney's.
So I wrote this list for my husband: Five ways to anger, annoy, or promt eye-rolling from a Green Beret.
Amen. Thank you husband for me.

Please thank Larry for me and my family.

When I smile and laugh nervously around Larry it is only because I know he could kill me with one hand at anytime. I try to keep the sarcasm to a minimum. I am certain if I made him mad my last word would be 'I was just KIDDING!'
he he he.
Actually hard to be believe such a gentle soul could be such a military machine....and I think it is awesome.
Wonderful photo. Says "God Bless America" and "God Bless the Palm Tree" all at once. Not easy to do.

Okay, so as a veteran myself, I can tollerate your list with one exception. You keep that fluffy pen away from me! LOL!
Tell your husband, from one vet to another, that I thank him for his service, his respect, his honor and his sacrifices. Make everyday veterans day and remember our lost brothers and sisters.
